Weld Mold 670-C is a high temperature composite rod that runs smoothly with little spatter.

Applications

670-C is a nickel-base alloy used to join and overlay Hastelloy “W” dissimilar cobalt and nickel-base and other alloys used in high-temperature service, such as in aerospace applications.

Procedure

Use DC reverse polarity. Maintain a short arc and use either stringer beads or weave up to a maximum of 2 ½ times the electrode diameter. Pre-heat according to base metal.
