A high speed all position electrode especially developed with iron powder in the coating to assist in faster weld deposition with exceptionally easy slag removal. Lower penetration for poor-fit-up joining and easy restrike characteristics make this electrode a versatile welding product.

Applications

This electrode may be used for all types of mild steel fabricating and maintenance welding including: plate, pipe, tanks, beams, and other types of construction work where mild steel is used.

Procedure

Use short arc or “drag” technique. Stringer beads are recommended although slight weaving is permissible.
