Weld Mold 620 is used for wearfacing and corrosion resistant applications. It also has good creep and stress rupture properties.

Applications

620 is ideal for applications where both high strength and oxidation resistance are required. Used for the fabrication and repair of aircraft, industrial gas and marine turbine engine combustors.

Procedure

Pre-heat and post-heat will be dictated by the base metal chemistry, the type of weld, and the amount of deposit.
